Bing Chat is now Microsoft Copilot. Open copilot.microsoft.com, sign in when the service asks, enter a clear request, and review the answer and any cited links before acting on it.
Go to copilot.microsoft.com in a current supported browser. The historic Bing Chat waitlist and the requirement to use Microsoft Edge no longer describe the current access path.

Select Sign in if you need account-specific features or your browser requests it. Use only your own Microsoft account and do not share sign-in codes or credentials.

Describe the task
Type a focused request that includes the needed context, desired format, and any important constraints. Avoid supplying confidential information unless you have verified the service and account settings are appropriate.

Review the response
Read the response before using it and open any cited source that matters to your decision. An AI response can be incomplete or incorrect even when it sounds confident.

Refine the request
Ask a follow-up that identifies the missing fact, assumption, or required format. Keep the original task visible rather than switching to a broader question.

Save only verified work
Copy or save only material you have checked for your purpose. Keep primary sources for claims that need to be current, regulated, or consequential.
