Privacy Policy – Storage Cleaner Pro (macOS Storage Analyzer & Cleaner)

Who I am

I publish the macOS application Storage Cleaner Pro.

What the app does

Storage Cleaner Pro helps you free up space on your Mac.
The app scans folders you select, shows which files use the most storage, and presents an interactive space graph where larger files appear as larger bubbles. You can preview files, reveal them in Finder, and, if you choose, move them to the Trash.

Pro features allow deeper scanning, duplicate detection, smart filters, and extended insights.

Everything happens locally on your Mac.

Data I collect from the app

I do not collect any personal data.

On-device only:

  • Scan results, file information, history entries, filters, and preferences are stored locally inside the app’s sandbox container on your Mac.

  • The app only accesses folders that you explicitly grant access to (via macOS file-permission dialogs).

No servers:

Storage Cleaner Pro does not upload or send any data to me or to third parties. All analysis, scanning, and deletion actions run entirely on your device.

Sharing:

If you reveal or open files through Finder or macOS share options, those actions are handled by macOS. I do not receive any information about the files you interact with.

Accounts, tracking, and ads

  • No accounts or logins

  • No third-party SDKs

  • No analytics or tracking

  • No ads

Diagnostics & crash reports

If you choose to share analytics with developers in macOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics, Apple may provide anonymous and aggregated crash logs or diagnostics.
These do not personally identify you, and I cannot link them to specific users.

Payments

Storage Cleaner Pro includes an optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock Pro features.
Payments are processed securely by Apple through the App Store.
I do not receive your payment information.
Apple may share aggregated financial reports with me (these contain no personal data).

When you contact me

If you email support@techy.how or use my contact form at https://www.nexttap.net/contact, I will process the information you provide (such as your email address and message) to respond.
I keep support messages only as long as needed to handle your request.

Your rights (EU/EEA)

If you contact me and share personal data, you may request:

  • access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your data

  • to object to processing

You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
In Luxembourg, this is the Commission Nationale pour la Protection des Données (CNPD).

Children’s privacy

The app has no social features, no user accounts, and no advertising.
It is suitable for general audiences.

Security

Storage Cleaner Pro is designed to work offline and store its data locally on your device.
If you contact me by email, I take reasonable steps to secure those communications.

International transfers

The app does not operate cloud services and does not transfer any app data internationally.
Email communications may be processed by my email provider solely to deliver messages.

Changes to this policy

I may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements.
The Effective date above will be updated accordingly.
Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
