Privacy Policy – SEO Audit: Site Checker

Effective date: 1 June 2026

Who we are

techy.how publishes the iOS app SEO Audit: Site Checker.

Contact: contact@techy.how

What the app does

SEO Audit: Site Checker helps users check the health of a website. The app lets users enter a website URL, scan the site, and receive a clear audit report with an overall score, issue priorities, plain-language explanations, and practical fix guidance.

The app is designed to work without accounts, without tracking, and without sending your audit data to our servers.

Data we collect from the app

We do not collect personal data from the app.

SEO Audit: Site Checker does not require you to create an account or log in. We do not operate a backend server for this app, and we do not receive the websites you scan, your audit reports, your saved sites, or your audit history.

Website scan data

When you scan a website, the app may process technical information about that website, such as:

  • Page title and meta description

  • Headings and page structure

  • Links and broken-link results

  • Image information, such as missing alt text

  • Open Graph and Twitter Card tags

  • Canonical and hreflang tags

  • robots.txt and sitemap.xml information

  • SSL/TLS certificate status

  • Redirects and HTTP status codes

  • Mixed content signals

  • Basic performance information, such as load time, page weight, request count, and time to first byte

  • Structured data presence

  • Favicon presence

This information is used only to generate the audit result on your device.

On-device only

All scanning and analysis happen on your iPhone or iPad.

Saved sites, audit history, scan results, preferences, and Pro-related app settings are stored locally on your device using Apple’s local storage technologies.

We do not receive your scan results.

We do not store your scan results on our servers.

We do not use your scan results for analytics, advertising, profiling, or training.

Network requests made by the app

To perform an audit, the app needs to connect to the website URL you enter. It may also request related public files and resources, such as robots.txt, sitemap.xml, internal links, external links, page resources, and certificate information.

These requests are necessary for the app to check the website and generate the report.

The website you scan, its hosting provider, analytics tools, security services, or other third-party services used by that website may receive normal technical information from your device, such as your IP address, user agent, request time, and requested URL. This is part of how the internet works and is not controlled by us.

We do not receive a copy of this information.

Saved sites and audit history

If you use Pro features such as saved sites or audit history, this information is stored locally on your device.

We do not receive your saved sites.

We do not receive your audit history.

If you delete the app, this locally stored data may be removed from your device, depending on how iOS handles app data and backups.

PDF reports and sharing

SEO Audit: Site Checker may allow you to export or share audit reports, such as PDF reports.

When you export or share a report, iOS uses the system share sheet or another Apple system feature to send the information to the destination you choose.

We do not receive the exported report.

You are responsible for choosing where you send or store the report.

Accounts, tracking, and ads

SEO Audit: Site Checker has:

  • No accounts or logins

  • No third-party SDKs

  • No third-party analytics

  • No advertising tracking

  • No ads

  • No backend server operated by us for app scan data

Diagnostics and crash reports

The app may use Apple’s built-in diagnostic technologies, such as MetricKit, to help understand app performance and stability.

If you have chosen to share analytics with developers in your iOS settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated crash logs, diagnostics, or performance information.

These reports are provided by Apple and are used only to improve app stability and performance. They do not directly identify you to us.

Payments

SEO Audit: Site Checker offers optional In-App Purchases to unlock Pro features.

The app may offer:

  • A monthly subscription

  • A yearly subscription

  • A lifetime unlock

Purchases are processed securely by Apple through the App Store.

We do not receive your payment card details.

We do not process your payment information ourselves.

Apple may provide us with sales and subscription reports, but these do not include your full payment details.

You can manage subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds through your Apple ID settings or the App Store.

When you contact us

If you email contact@techy.how, we will process the information you provide, such as your email address, message, and any details you choose to include, so we can respond to your request.

We keep these messages only as long as needed to handle your request, maintain support records, or comply with legal obligations.

Your rights (EU/EEA)

If you contact us and share personal data, you may have the right to request:

  • Access to your data

  • Correction of your data

  • Deletion of your data

  • Restriction of processing

  • Portability of your data

  • Objection to processing

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

In Luxembourg, this is the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD).

Children’s privacy

SEO Audit: Site Checker does not include social features, user-generated content, ads, or public profiles.

The app is suitable for general audiences.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Security

SEO Audit: Site Checker is designed to keep scan data on your device.

Because we do not operate a backend for scan data, your audit results are not sent to us or stored on our servers.

If you contact us by email, we take reasonable steps to protect those communications.

International transfers

We do not run cloud services for this app’s scan data, and we do not transfer your app scan data internationally.

If you contact us by email, your message may be processed by our email provider or related service providers to deliver and manage the communication.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the app, App Store requirements, or legal requirements.

If we update this policy, we will revise the Effective date above.

Material changes will be highlighted where possible.
