techy.how publishes the iOS app Relay.

What the App Does

Relay is a native iOS HTTP and REST client designed for developers and designers to send API requests, inspect responses, and manage collections of saved requests. The app allows users to configure request parameters, headers, body content, and authentication settings while providing detailed response metrics and metadata.

Data We Collect from the App

We do not collect personal data.

  • On-Device Storage: All user data—including API requests, collections, folders, environment variables, and history—is stored locally on your device using SwiftData.

  • iCloud Sync (Pro Feature): If you choose to enable iCloud sync, your data is synced across your own devices via Apple’s CloudKit. This data is stored in your private iCloud container; we do not have access to this data.

  • No Developer Servers: No user-generated data (such as API keys, request bodies, or URLs) is ever transmitted to or stored on any server controlled by the developer.

  • Export/Sharing: If you export a collection or copy a request as cURL, iOS uses the system share sheet or clipboard to send that information to the destination you choose. We do not receive this information.

Accounts, Tracking, and Ads

  • No Accounts: You do not need to create an account or log in to use Relay.

  • No Third-Party SDKs: Relay does not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

  • No Tracking: We do not track your API usage, the endpoints you call, or your workflow.

  • No Ads: The app is entirely ad-free.

Diagnostics & Crash Reports

We do not use third-party crash reporting services. Relay may use Apple's MetricKit for on-device diagnostics. If you have opted in to share analytics with developers within your iOS system settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated, non-identifying diagnostic information and crash logs.

Payments

Relay offers an optional "Pro" subscription or lifetime purchase to unlock premium features like Collections, Environment Variables, and iCloud Sync.

  • Purchases are processed securely by Apple.

  • We do not receive or store your credit card or payment details.

  • Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymous sales reports that do not identify individual users.

When You Contact Us

If you email contact@techy.how for support, we will process the information you provide (such as your email address and the content of your message) solely to assist you. We retain these communications only as long as necessary to resolve your request.

Your Rights (EU/EEA)

Under the GDPR, if you contact us and share personal data, you have the right to:

  • Access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your data.

  • Request data portability.

  • Object to processing.

  • Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (such as the CNPD in Luxembourg).

Children’s Privacy

Relay is a technical tool for developers and does not contain user-generated social content, tracking, or ads. It is suitable for a general audience.

Security

Relay is designed with a "privacy-first" architecture. Environment variables marked as "Secret" are stored securely in the iOS Keychain. Because your data remains on your device or in your personal iCloud storage, the security of your API keys and data is protected by iOS system security.

International Transfers

We do not operate cloud services for this app and do not transfer your app data internationally. Email support communications may be processed by our service providers to facilitate our response to you.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. The "Effective Date" at the top of this document will be updated accordingly.
