What the app does
Pulse Story helps users understand their health and fitness data in a more relatable way. Using data from Apple Health, the app creates visual dashboards, weekly summaries (“Stories”), and optional exports (PDF, CSV, Excel) to help users reflect on trends in activity, sleep, and wellness.
Pulse Story is a wellness and informational tool. It does not provide medical advice.
Data we collect from the app
We do not collect personal data.
On-device only
All health data accessed from Apple Health (such as steps, activity, sleep, or heart-related metrics), generated insights, stories, preferences, and exports are processed and stored locally on your device only.
No servers
Pulse Story does not use cloud storage and does not send your health data or app usage data to us or to any external servers.
HealthKit access
If you grant permission, Pulse Story reads selected data from Apple Health solely to display insights inside the app. This data never leaves your device.
Sharing & exports
If you choose to export or share data (PDF, CSV, Excel), iOS uses the system share sheet to send that information to the destination you select. We do not receive exported data.
Accounts, tracking, and ads
No accounts or logins

No advertising
Diagnostics & crash reports
If you opt in to share analytics with developers in your iOS settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated and anonymized crash reports or diagnostics. These reports do not directly identify you.
Payments
Pulse Story offers an optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock Pro features (such as advanced exports and historical comparisons).

Apple may provide us with aggregated sales reports that do not contain personal data

If you contact us by email at contact@techy.how, we will process the information you provide (such as your email address and message) only to respond to your request.
We retain these communications only as long as necessary.

Pulse Story has no user-generated content, social features, or advertising. It is suitable for general audiences.

Pulse Story is designed to operate offline, with all app data stored locally on your device.
If you email us, we take reasonable steps to protect those communications.
International transfers
Pulse Story does not operate cloud services and does not transfer app data internationally.
Email communications may be processed by our email provider solely to deliver messages.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect app or legal changes.
The Effective date above will be updated accordingly. Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
