techy.how publishes the macOS app Pomodoro Focus Timer.

What the app does

Pomodoro Focus Timer helps users stay productive using the classic Pomodoro Technique.
You can start focused work sessions, take timed breaks, track your daily sessions, and (if you upgrade to Pro) save custom presets, enable long breaks, add session labels, track history, and view analytics.

The app is designed to work fully offline. No accounts, no sign-ins, and no data leaves your Mac.

Data we collect from the app

We do not collect personal data.

On-device only data

All app data is stored locally on your Mac inside the app’s Application Support folder, including:

  • Timer settings (work/break duration)

  • Session counter for today

  • Preferences such as notifications, sound settings, appearance mode

  • (Pro) Custom presets

  • (Pro) Session history, labels, and tags

  • (Pro) Goals and analytics

  • (Pro) Calendar heatmap and streaks

None of this data is sent to us.
You can delete the app at any time to remove all stored data.

No servers

The app does not connect to any external server.
There is no cloud storage, no remote database, and no background communication of any kind.

Sharing

The app has no built-in sharing features.
If you export a CSV file (Pro feature), it is saved locally on your Mac.
If you choose to share that file, macOS uses the system share dialog. We do not receive any of it.

Accounts, tracking, and ads

  • No accounts or logins

  • No third-party SDKs

  • No analytics or tracking

  • No ads

  • No behavioral profiling

The app does not monitor your activity or communicate with external services.

Diagnostics & crash reports

If you choose to opt in to Share with App Developers in macOS system settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymized crash logs.
These may include general device information, but do not directly identify you.

We do not receive any personal data from Apple.

Payments

Pomodoro Focus Timer offers a one-time Pro upgrade, processed entirely by Apple through the App Store.

  • We do not receive your payment information.

  • Apple may provide aggregated sales reports, but these contain no personal data.

When you contact us

If you email contact@techy.how, we will process the information you provide (such as your email address and message) to respond to your inquiry.
We keep these messages only as long as necessary to handle your request.

Your rights (EU/EEA)

If you contact us and share personal data (such as in a support email), you have the right to request:

  • Access

  • Correction

  • Deletion

  • Restriction

  • Portability

  • Objection to processing

You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Luxembourg, this is the CNPD.

Children’s privacy

The app contains:

  • No user-generated content

  • No social features

  • No tracking

  • No ads

It is suitable for general audiences.

Security

The app is built to run fully offline and stores all app data locally on your Mac.
If you email us, we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to secure those communications.

International transfers

The app does not send data anywhere, and we do not operate cloud services for this app.
Support emails may be processed by our email provider solely to deliver messages.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the app changes or if legal requirements evolve.
The Effective date above will be updated.
When possible, we will highlight significant changes.
