techy.how publishes the iOS app PetLog: AI Health Tracker.

What the app does

PetLog helps pet owners log and understand their pet’s wellness information.
The app allows users to record symptoms, daily care activities, and observations, and generates human-readable summaries and professional-style veterinary reports for informational purposes.

PetLog is a wellness and organization tool only. It does not provide medical diagnoses, treatment, or veterinary advice.

Data we collect from the app

We do not collect personal data.

All pet health information entered into PetLog is treated as private, local data.

On-device only processing

  • Pet profiles (name, species, breed, age, weight, known issues)

  • Symptom logs, notes, intensity ratings

  • Photos or videos attached to log entries

  • Generated summaries and wellness insights

  • Reminders, calendar events, and preferences

All AI-generated insights (“Weekly Paw-spectives”, trend summaries, triage indicators) are processed entirely on your device using Apple-provided frameworks (such as Apple Intelligence where available).

No pet health data is sent to our servers.

iCloud Sync (optional, Pro feature)

If you enable iCloud Sync, your PetLog data is stored securely in your private iCloud account using Apple’s infrastructure.

  • Data is encrypted and associated with your Apple ID

  • We cannot access, read, or retrieve this data

  • Sync exists solely to keep your data consistent across your devices

No servers

PetLog does not operate backend servers for storing pet data.
We do not receive, store, or process your pet health information.

Sharing reports & media

If you choose to:

  • Export a PDF veterinary report

  • Email a report to your veterinarian

  • Share photos or summaries

Apple’s system share sheet is used.

We do not receive copies of shared reports, attachments, or recipient information.

Accounts, tracking, and ads

  • No user accounts or logins

  • No tracking or profiling

  • No third-party analytics SDKs

  • No advertising

  • No data brokers

PetLog declares “Data Not Linked to User” in App Store privacy labels.

Diagnostics & crash reports

If you opt in to sharing analytics with developers in iOS settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated and anonymized crash logs or performance diagnostics.

These reports:

  • Do not include pet health data

  • Do not directly identify you

Payments

PetLog offers optional in-app purchases (lifetime unlock and subscriptions) to access Pro features.

  • Payments are processed securely by Apple

  • We do not receive your payment details

  • Apple may share aggregated sales reports with us (no personal data)

When you contact us

If you email contact@techy.how, we process the information you provide (such as your email address and message) only to respond to your request.

Messages are retained only as long as necessary for support purposes.

Your rights (EU / EEA)

If you contact us and share personal data via email, you may request:

  • Access to your data

  • Correction or deletion

  • Restriction or portability

  • Objection to processing

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (In Luxembourg: the CNPD).

Children’s privacy

PetLog does not include:

  • Social features

  • Public sharing

  • Advertising

  • User-to-user communication

The app is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Security

PetLog is designed to function offline and store data locally on your device.

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect:

  • On-device data

  • iCloud-synced data (via Apple’s security model)

  • Support communications

It is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for medical concerns.

International data transfers

PetLog does not operate cloud servers and does not transfer pet health data internationally.

Email communications may be processed by our email provider solely to deliver messages.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect app or legal changes.
The effective date above will be revised accordingly.
