techy.how publishes the iOS app Network Monitor Pro.

What the app does

Network Monitor Pro helps users understand the quality and stability of their internet connection.
The app measures network performance indicators such as latency, jitter, connection stability, and interface type, and translates them into an easy-to-understand Network Health Score. It is designed as a local, diagnostic utility similar in philosophy to Battery Health Pro.

Data we collect from the app

We do not collect personal data.

On-device only:
All measurements, health scores, connection history, stability logs, alerts, preferences, and comparisons are processed and stored locally on your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, or widget configuration.

No servers:
The app does not send your network data, measurements, or history to us or to any external server.

No traffic inspection:
The app does not inspect, capture, or analyze the content of your internet traffic or the data of other apps.

Permissions

Network Monitor Pro may request the following system permissions:

  • Location (When In Use):
    Required by Apple to access the name of the currently connected Wi-Fi network (SSID). Location data itself is not stored or tracked.

  • Notifications (Optional):
    Used to notify you if network health drops below thresholds you configure. Notifications are generated entirely on-device.

You can manage or revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

Sharing & exports

If you export data (for example as a PDF) or share information, iOS uses the system share sheet to send that data to the destination you choose. We do not receive exported or shared data.

Accounts, tracking, and ads

  • No accounts or logins

  • No third-party SDKs

  • No analytics or tracking

  • No advertising

  • No cross-app tracking

Diagnostics & crash reports

If you opt in to share analytics with developers in iOS settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated and anonymized crash logs or performance diagnostics. These reports do not directly identify you.

Payments

Network Monitor Pro offers optional Pro features via subscriptions and/or a one-time lifetime unlock.

  • All payments are processed securely by Apple

  • We do not receive your payment details

  • Apple may provide us with aggregated sales reports (no personal data)

When you contact us

If you email contact@techy.how, we process the information you provide (such as your email address and message) only to respond to your request.
We retain this information only as long as necessary to handle the communication.

Your rights (EU / EEA)

If you contact us and share personal data, you may request:

  • Access, correction, or deletion of your data

  • Restriction or portability of your data

  • To object to processing

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Luxembourg, this is the CNPD.

Children’s privacy

Network Monitor Pro has no user-generated content, social features, or advertising. It is suitable for general audiences.

Security

The app is designed to operate offline and store all data locally on your device.
For email communications, we take reasonable measures to protect messages and limit access.

International transfers

We do not operate cloud services for this app and do not transfer app data internationally.
Email communications may be processed by our email provider solely to deliver messages.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy to reflect app or legal changes.
The Effective date above will be updated accordingly. Material changes will be highlighted where possible.
