Privacy Policy – MoveLive (macOS Natural Mouse Mover App)

Who we are

techy.how publishes the macOS app MoveLive.

What the app does

MoveLive keeps your Mac awake using natural, human-like cursor movement patterns or by preventing sleep without touching the cursor (Zen Mode).

You can:

  • Enable natural mouse movement

  • Choose patterns (Circular, Figure-8, Random Walk)

  • Adjust movement intervals and radius (Pro)

  • Use Zen Mode to keep the screen awake without moving the cursor

  • Create daily schedules (Pro)

  • Auto-pause on low battery (Pro)

  • Enable launch-at-login

  • Use a global hotkey to toggle activity

  • Run the app privately in the background

All activity happens locally on your Mac.

Data we collect from the app

We do not collect personal data.

On-device only

Everything MoveLive uses—movement settings, intervals, schedules, radius preferences, Zen Mode state, hotkey selection, launch preferences—is stored locally on your Mac.

Nothing is sent to our servers, because we do not operate any servers for this app.

No servers

MoveLive does not transmit any data to us or to third parties.
The app works completely offline except for Apple’s StoreKit purchase process.

Accessibility permission

MoveLive requires the macOS Accessibility permission to move the mouse cursor.
This permission is used only to perform movement patterns.
No input, keystrokes, or screen content is read, stored, or transmitted.

Sharing

The app has no export or sharing mechanisms because it does not produce user-generated files. If you choose to share something manually (for example, a screenshot of the app), macOS handles that action.
We do not receive any of that information.

Accounts, tracking, and ads

  • No accounts or logins

  • No cloud syncing

  • No third-party SDKs

  • No analytics or tracking

  • No ads

  • No profiling or identifiers

  • No internet communication beyond StoreKit purchases

Diagnostics & crash reports

If you enable “Share with App Developers” in macOS system settings, Apple may send us aggregated, anonymous crash logs.

These reports:

  • Do not identify you

  • Do not contain any mouse movement settings or schedules

  • Do not include any app usage data

They help us improve stability.

Payments

MoveLive Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple.

We do not receive:

  • Your name

  • Your Apple ID

  • Your payment details

Apple may share aggregated sales numbers with us, which contain no personal data.

When you contact us

If you email contact@techy.how, we process the information you provide (your message and email address) to respond to you.

We keep support emails only as long as necessary to handle your request.

Your rights (EU/EEA)

If you contact us and provide personal data, you may request:

  • Access

  • Correction

  • Deletion

  • Restriction

  • Portability

You may also object to processing.
You can contact your local data protection authority. In Luxembourg, this is the CNPD.

Children’s privacy

MoveLive has:

  • No accounts

  • No social features

  • No user-generated content

  • No ads

  • No internet connectivity (except StoreKit)

The app is suitable for general audiences and does not target children.

Security

MoveLive is designed to operate offline and stores all settings directly on your device using standard macOS system storage.

If you contact us by email, we take reasonable steps to secure those communications.

International transfers

MoveLive does not use servers or cloud processing.
Your app data remains on your device and never leaves it unless you choose to export or share something manually.

Support emails you send may be processed by our email provider to deliver the message.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the app or legal requirements change.
We will update the Effective date at the top of this document when that happens.
