Who we are

techy.how publishes the iPhone and iPad app LuxAid Finder.

What the app does

LuxAid Finder helps users understand which government aids and financial supports in Luxembourg they may qualify for.
The app asks simple questions about your situation (e.g., housing, family status, studies, employment, income range) and shows an overview of potential aids with explanations and links to official websites.

All answers and results remain strictly on your device.

Data we collect from the app

We do not collect personal data.

  • On-device only:
    Your answers, saved aids, bookmarks, and any questionnaire information are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad.

  • No servers:
    The app does not send any data to us or to third parties.

  • No online storage:
    We do not run databases, cloud services, or remote processing.

  • Sharing:
    If you export a PDF report or share information, iOS uses the system share sheet. You choose the destination. We do not receive this data.

Accounts, tracking, and ads

  • No accounts or logins

  • No third-party SDKs

  • No analytics or tracking

  • No ads

The app works fully offline.

Diagnostics & crash reports

If you choose to share analytics with developers in iOS Settings, Apple may provide aggregated crash logs and diagnostics.
These reports do not directly identify you, and we only see what Apple provides.

Payments

In-app purchases are processed by Apple.
We do not receive your payment details.
Apple may share aggregated sales reports with us (no personal data).

When you contact us

If you email contact@techy.how, we will process the information you provide (your email address and message) to respond.
We keep these messages only as long as needed to handle your request.

Your rights (EU/EEA)

If you contact us and share personal data (e.g., by email), you may request:

  • access

  • correction

  • deletion

  • restriction

  • portability

  • objection to processing

You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Luxembourg, this is the CNPD.

Children’s privacy

The app contains no social features, user accounts, external links (besides official government websites), or ads.
It is suitable for general audiences.

Security

The app is designed to work offline and store all questionnaire and result data on your device.
If you communicate with us by email, we take reasonable steps to secure those communications.

International transfers

The app does not transfer data internationally.
Emails you send us may be processed by our email provider solely for message delivery.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements.
We will update the Effective date above.
Material changes will be highlighted where possible.
