techy.how publishes the macOS app Fixed Asset Manager.

What the app does

Fixed Asset Manager helps freelancers, small businesses, and professionals track physical assets and calculate depreciation schedules for accounting and reporting purposes.

You can:

  • Record fixed assets (computers, equipment, vehicles, furniture, etc.)

  • Store purchase details, useful life, and salvage value

  • Calculate depreciation using standard accounting methods

  • View year-by-year depreciation tables

  • Generate on-device reports and exports

All information stays local on your Mac.

Data we collect from the app

We do not collect personal data.

On-device only

All information you enter (assets, values, depreciation schedules, reports, settings) is stored locally on your Mac.

Nothing is sent to our servers — because we do not operate any servers for this app.

No servers

Fixed Asset Manager does not transmit data to us or to any third party.

Sharing

If you export or copy your data (for example, exporting a depreciation report as a PDF or CSV), macOS uses the system share sheet to send that file to the destination you choose.

We do not receive that information.

Accounts, tracking, and ads

  • No accounts or logins

  • No cloud syncing

  • No third-party SDKs

  • No analytics or tracking

  • No ads

  • No profiling or identifiers of any kind

Diagnostics & crash reports

If you opt in to share analytics with developers in macOS system settings, Apple may provide aggregated crash logs or diagnostics.

These reports:

  • Do not directly identify you

  • Do not contain your asset data, depreciation schedules, or reports

Payments

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.

We do not receive your payment details.

Apple may share aggregated sales reports with us, which do not include any personal data.

When you contact us

If you email contact@techy.how, we process the information you provide (such as your email address and message) solely to respond to your request.

We keep these messages only as long as necessary to handle your inquiry.

Your rights (EU/EEA)

If you contact us and share personal data, you may request:

  • Access

  • Correction

  • Deletion

  • Restriction

  • Portability

You may also object to processing.

You can contact your local data protection authority to lodge a complaint.
In Luxembourg, this is the CNPD (Commission nationale pour la protection des données).

Children’s privacy

The app has:

  • No accounts

  • No social features

  • No user-generated content

  • No ads

It is suitable for general audiences and does not specifically target children.

Security

The app is designed to work offline and store all data on your device.

If you contact us by email, we take reasonable steps to secure those communications.

International transfers

Fixed Asset Manager does not use servers or cloud processing.

App data never leaves your device unless you choose to export it.

Emails you send to us may be processed by our email provider solely to deliver the message.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements.

When we do, we will revise the Effective date above.
