Privacy Policy – ESG Client Navigator (macOS Sustainability Workflow Manager)

Who I am

I publish the macOS application ESG Client Navigator.

What the app does

ESG Client Navigator helps consultants, accountants, and advisors guide clients through sustainability reporting frameworks.
The app organizes clients and projects, tracks data-readiness progress, and provides interactive checklists for frameworks such as SFDR, CSRD, EET, and GRI.
With Navigator Pro, you can also generate professional PDF gap-analysis reports.

All client information, project data, notes, and progress tracking remain stored locally on your Mac unless you choose to export or share a report.

Data I collect from the app

I do not collect any personal data from your use of ESG Client Navigator.

On-device only:

  • Client names

  • Project entries

  • Checklist selections, notes, statuses

  • Dashboard progress and readiness metrics

  • Templates and generated reports
    All of this information is stored locally in the app’s sandboxed container on your Mac.

No servers:

ESG Client Navigator does not upload your client information, project details, or reports to any server. All processing happens on your device.

Sharing:

If you export a PDF gap analysis, it is saved locally or shared using macOS’s system share sheet. I do not receive any exported files or project data.

Accounts, tracking, and ads

  • No accounts or logins

  • No cloud sync

  • No third-party SDKs

  • No analytics or tracking

  • No ads

The app is designed for private, offline use.

Diagnostics & crash reports

If you have chosen to share analytics with developers in macOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics, Apple may provide anonymous, aggregated crash logs. These cannot identify you or your clients. I only use this information to understand technical issues.

Payments

ESG Client Navigator includes an optional one-time in-app purchase (Navigator Pro) to unlock unlimited clients, the full template library, and PDF export. Payments are processed exclusively by Apple, and I do not receive your payment details. Apple may share aggregated sales statistics with me, but these contain no personal information.

When you contact me

If you email me at contact@techy.how or use my support page at https://www.nexttap.net/contact, I will process the information you send (such as your email address and message) to respond.
I only keep support emails for as long as needed to resolve your request.

Your rights (EU/EEA)

If you contact me and share personal data, you may request:

  • access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability

  • to object to processing

You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. If you are based in Luxembourg, this is the Commission Nationale pour la Protection des Données (CNPD).

Children’s privacy

The app contains no user-generated content, social features, or advertising.
It is intended for professional users and is suitable for general audiences.

Security

All client and project data remains stored locally within your Mac’s secure sandbox.
No network connections are made by the app.
If you contact me by email, I take reasonable steps to secure your communication.

International transfers

ESG Client Navigator does not operate any servers and does not transfer app data internationally.
Email communication may be routed through my email provider for message delivery.

Changes to this policy

I may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the app or in legal requirements. The Effective date above will be updated accordingly. Significant changes will be noted where appropriate.
