techy.how publishes the macOS application Desktop Cleaner Pro.

What the app does

Desktop Cleaner Pro helps you keep your Mac tidy by automatically sorting your desktop files into organized folders by type or date.
With one click, the app moves files (e.g., images, documents, PDFs, archives, and folders) into pre-defined destinations.
Pro features allow custom rules, scheduling, and folder tagging — all handled locally on your Mac.

Data we collect from the app

We do not collect any personal data.

On-device only:

  • Cleaning rules, schedules, and history are stored locally inside the app’s sandboxed container as small JSON files.

  • The app only accesses your Desktop folder (and any other folders you explicitly select).

No servers:

  • Desktop Cleaner Pro does not send or upload any files or metadata to our servers or to third parties.

Sharing:

  • If you use Finder’s “Reveal Folder” or macOS sharing options, those actions are handled entirely by the operating system. We never receive the shared data.

Accounts, tracking, and ads

  • No accounts or logins

  • No third-party SDKs

  • No analytics or tracking

  • No ads

Diagnostics & crash reports

If you have opted in to share analytics and crash data with developers in macOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics, Apple may provide aggregated crash logs and diagnostics.
These reports are anonymized and do not personally identify you.

Payments

In-app purchases are processed securely by Apple Inc. via the App Store.
We do not have access to your payment information.
Apple may share aggregated sales statistics with us (without personal identifiers).

When you contact us

If you email support@techy.how, we will process the information you provide (e.g., your email address and message content) only to respond to your inquiry.
We retain support messages only as long as necessary to handle your request.

Your rights (EU/EEA)

If you contact us and share personal data, you may request:

  • access, correction, deletion, or restriction of that data;

  • data portability; or

  • to object to processing.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
In Luxembourg, this is the Commission Nationale pour la Protection des Données (CNPD).

Children’s privacy

The app contains no user-generated content, social features, or advertising, and is suitable for general audiences.

Security

Desktop Cleaner Pro is designed to work entirely offline.
All data stays within your local Mac sandbox.
If you contact us by email, we use reasonable safeguards to protect those communications.

International transfers

The app does not perform any network operations or data transfers.
Email communications may be routed through our email provider solely for message delivery.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the app or legal requirements change.
The Effective date above will be updated accordingly.
Material updates will be clearly indicated in release notes or on our website.
