techy.how publishes the macOS app Clipboard Manager.

What the app does

Clipboard Manager helps you save and reuse your clipboard history on your Mac.
You can:

  • Store copied text, images, links, and files in a local history

  • Search and filter previous clipboard items

  • Pin important snippets

  • Preview items before pasting

  • Use keyboard shortcuts to open your history

  • Create snippet collections (Pro)

  • Sync clipboard history locally between your Macs on the same Wi-Fi network (Pro)

  • Apply Smart Paste formatting tools (Pro)

All clipboard data stays on your device or local network.
The app processes and stores everything locally on your Mac.

Data we collect from the app

We do not collect personal data.

On-device only

All clipboard history, pinned items, snippets, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your Mac. Nothing you copy — including text, images, links, files, or snippets — is sent to our servers.

Clipboard Manager does not operate any cloud servers.

Local Network Sync (Pro)

If you enable local network sync, the app syncs clipboard history directly between your devices on the same Wi-Fi network.

  • No cloud servers are used

  • No data leaves your local network

  • No copies are stored externally

  • We never receive any clipboard data

This feature uses standard macOS networking technologies designed for private device-to-device communication.

No servers

The app does not transmit clipboard data, usage data, or any identifiers to us or to third parties.

We do not operate any backend systems for this app.

Sharing

If you export or manually copy content from Clipboard Manager:

  • macOS uses the system share sheet or copy-paste system

  • The file or snippet is only sent to the destination you choose

  • We do not receive any of your data

Accounts, tracking, and ads

Clipboard Manager has:

  • No accounts or logins

  • No cloud syncing through third parties

  • No third-party SDKs

  • No analytics or tracking

  • No ads

  • No profiling or unique identifiers

Diagnostics & crash reports

If you choose to share analytics with developers in macOS System Settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated crash logs or diagnostics.

These reports:

  • Do not identify you

  • Do not include clipboard contents

  • Do not include snippet data, history entries, or file information

They are used only to understand app crashes or performance issues.

Payments

In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.

  • We do not receive your payment information

  • Apple may share aggregated sales reports with us

  • These reports contain no personal data

When you contact us

If you email support@techy.how, we will process the information you provide (such as your email address and message) only to respond to your request.

We keep support emails only as long as necessary to handle your inquiry.

Your rights (EU/EEA)

If you contact us and provide personal data (e.g., via email), you may request:

  • Access

  • Correction

  • Deletion

  • Restriction

  • Portability

  • Objection to processing

You may also contact your local data protection authority. In Luxembourg, this is the CNPD.

Children’s privacy

The app:

  • Has no accounts

  • Has no social features

  • Stores all data on the user’s device

  • Contains no ads

It is suitable for general audiences and does not target children.

Security

Clipboard Manager is designed to work offline and store all clipboard data directly on your device.
We do not collect or transmit clipboard information.

If you contact us by email, we apply reasonable measures to secure those communications.

International transfers

Clipboard Manager does not use servers or cloud processing.
App data never leaves your device unless you choose to export it or use local network sync between your own Macs.

Emails you send to us may be processed by our email provider to deliver the message.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect improvements to Clipboard Manager or changes in legal requirements. The Effective date will be updated when changes are made.
