techy.how publishes the macOS app Client Retainer Manager.

What the app does

Client Retainer Manager helps independent consultants and freelancers track monthly retainers, client hours, deliverables, notes, and renewal rules.
You can:

  • Log time entries

  • Monitor utilization and remaining hours

  • Track deliverables and carryovers

  • Manage client details, rates, and retainer cycles

  • Generate on-device reports for monthly performance

All information stays local on your Mac.

Data we collect from the app

We do not collect personal data.

On-device only

All information you enter (clients, deliverables, notes, time entries, reports, settings) is stored locally on your Mac.
Nothing is sent to our servers — because we do not operate any servers for this app.

No servers

The app does not transmit data to us or to any third party.

Sharing

If you export or copy your data (e.g., exporting a report), macOS uses the system share sheet to send that file to the destination you choose. We do not receive that information.

Accounts, tracking, and ads

  • No accounts or logins

  • No cloud syncing

  • No third-party SDKs

  • No analytics or tracking

  • No ads

  • No profiling or identifiers of any kind

Diagnostics & crash reports

If you opt in to share analytics with developers in macOS settings, Apple may provide aggregated crash logs or diagnostics.
These reports do not directly identify you and do not contain your retainer, client, or time-tracking data.

Payments

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.
We do not receive your payment details.

Apple may share aggregated sales reports with us (these do not include any personal data).

When you contact us

If you email support@techy.how, we’ll process the information you provide (such as your email address and message) to respond.
We keep these messages only as long as needed to handle your request.

Your rights (EU/EEA)

If you contact us and share personal data, you may request:

  • Access

  • Correction

  • Deletion

  • Restriction

  • Portability

You may also object to processing.
You can contact your local data protection authority to lodge a complaint. In Luxembourg, this is the CNPD.

Children’s privacy

The app has no accounts, no social features, no user-generated content, and no ads.
It is suitable for general audiences and does not target children.

Security

The app is designed to work offline and store all data on your device.
If you contact us by email, we take reasonable steps to secure those communications.

International transfers

Client Retainer Manager does not use servers or cloud processing.
App data never leaves your device unless you choose to export it.
Emails you send to us may be processed by our email provider to deliver the message.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements.
We will revise the Effective date above when updates are made.
