Who we are
techy.how publishes the iPhone app DriveSafe: Fog & Snow.

What the app does
DriveSafe: Fog & Snow helps you prepare for dangerous driving conditions. You set thresholds (minimum visibility for fog, snow/sleet totals) and choose when to be alerted (for example in the evening and early morning). The app uses Apple’s WeatherKit data for the locations you pick.
Data we collect from the app
We do not collect personal data.
On-device only
Your settings (saved places like Home/Work, alert thresholds, schedules, theme) are stored locally on your iPhone.
Location
If you allow location access, the app uses your device location or the locations you manually add to check forecasts. Your location stays on your device. We do not see or store it on our servers.
Weather data (Apple WeatherKit)
Weather information is provided by Apple’s WeatherKit. The app requests forecast data for your selected locations to decide if an alert should be shown. We do not run our own servers for this.
Notifications
DriveSafe uses local notifications on your device to alert you. We do not use remote push notifications and do not collect push tokens.
Sharing
If you share anything from the app (for example, a screenshot), iOS uses the system share sheet to send that information to the destination you choose. We do not receive it.

Diagnostics & crash reports
If you opt in to share analytics with developers in iOS settings, Apple may provide aggregated crash logs/diagnostics to us. These reports do not directly identify you and can be turned off in your device settings.
Payments
If the app offers in-app purchases, they are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment details. Apple may share aggregated sales reports with us (no personal data).
When you contact us
If you email support@techy.how or contact@techy.how, we’ll process the information you provide (for example, your email address and message) to respond. We keep these messages only as long as needed to handle your request.
Your rights (EU/EEA)
If you contact us and share personal data, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability, and you may object to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Luxembourg: the CNPD).
Children’s privacy
The app has no user-generated content, social features, or ads. It is suitable for general audiences and is not directed to children.
Security
The app is designed to work without sending your data to our servers and keeps your settings on your device. If you email us, we take reasonable steps to secure those communications.
International transfers
We do not run cloud services for this app and do not transfer app data internationally. Email communications may be processed by our email provider to deliver messages, which could involve servers outside your country.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect app or legal changes. We’ll revise the Effective date above. Material changes will be highlighted where possible.
