Who we are

techy.how publishes the iPhone app Builder’s Toolkit.

What the app does

Builder’s Toolkit provides pro-grade construction calculators and tools, including Projects (save jobs with notes & history), Show Work (step-by-step math), PDF Reports, a Rebar Planner, editable Assumptions/Defaults, Precision & Rounding controls (decimals, 1/16″, metric snapping), and a fast Unit Converter—all designed to work offline on your iPhone.

Data we collect from the app

We do not collect personal data.

  • On-device only: Project entries (inputs, units, results, notes, history), your saved assumptions/defaults, and app settings are stored locally on your iPhone.

  • No servers: The app does not send your data to us.

  • Sharing/Export: When you export or share (e.g., a PDF report), iOS uses the system share sheet to send content to the destination you choose (Files, Mail, Messages, etc.). We do not receive it.

Accounts, tracking, and ads

  • No accounts or logins

  • No third-party SDKs

  • No analytics or tracking

  • No ads

Diagnostics & crash reports

If you opt in to share analytics with developers in iOS settings, Apple may provide us aggregated crash logs/diagnostics. These do not directly identify you. You can change this preference in iOS Settings.

Payments

Purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment details. Apple may share aggregated sales reports with us (no personal data).
(Current version: one-time purchase; no subscriptions. If we add in-app purchases in the future, they will also be processed by Apple.)

When you contact us

If you email contact@techy.how, we’ll process the information you provide (e.g., your email address and message) to respond. We keep these messages only as long as needed to handle your request.

Your rights (EU/EEA)

If you contact us and share personal data (e.g., via email), you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability, and you may object to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Luxembourg: the CNPD).

Children’s privacy

The app has no user-generated content, social features, or ads and is suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Security

The app is designed to work offline and to store your project data on your device. If you email us, we take reasonable steps to secure those communications.
Deleting data: You can delete your on-device data by deleting the app from your iPhone (and any PDFs you previously exported from wherever you saved them).

International transfers

We do not run cloud services for this app and do not transfer app data internationally. Email communications may be processed by our email provider to deliver messages.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect app or legal changes. We’ll revise the Effective date above. Where possible, material changes will be highlighted.
